It’s that time again: SoFi’s “No BS” Return on Education 2018 MBA rankings are here. Each year, we mine the data from student loan refinancing applications to figure out which MBA programs offer the best return on investment.

If you’re in the process of applying for an MBA or think that an MBA might be in your future, read on. This data tells you more than which school has the best marketing department; it shows you which MBA programs are most likely to lead to a high salary—or a future with a great salary-to-debt ratio.

For any startup to succeed, it takes talent, intelligence, hard work, and a love of innovation. It also helps to be connected—to have people looking out for you, especially when you’re on your way up and in need of that first big break. SoFi Entrepreneur Program member Mark Pawloski started Upkey with friends Mo Bitar and Amir Badr to help college students who didn’t come from elite backgrounds get noticed by more elite employers.

With the average student loan debt burden on the rise, it’s little wonder that loans often hold people back from pursuing their entrepreneurial goals. At SoFi, we’ve heard these stories time and again – friends, classmates and SoFi members who dream of starting their own businesses, but who feel trapped in a traditional job because they need to make that loan payment each month.

Refinancing student loans can be a great strategy for saving money when you’re done with school, but you can also take steps before even applying for loans that will pay off over the longterm.

However, getting accepted to an MBA program is challenging.  So much so that by the time graduate students are admitted to a program, many of them want to secure the first funding options available without pausing to thoroughly assess all the options.
