The role:

We are setting out to build a best-in-class Investor Relations function at SoFi. This means providing clear, insightful communications to the financial markets and delivering exceptional service to our investors, analysts and executive management team. As an Associate on the Investor Relations team, you will be the engine that makes our team run with maximum efficiency. This unique position will put you at the heart of the company, offering the opportunity to influence the company’s strategy and mission and to work with colleagues at all levels from across the organization. You will strengthen your understanding of financial markets and interact with the company’s investors and analysts. To be successful in this role, you will draw from your strong financial skills, expertise within the financial services industry, your strong written and verbal communications skills, and your high degree of ownership and personal accountability.

What you’ll do: 

  • Work with Head of Investor Relations to build and execute a best-in-class investor relations program
  • Manage analyst estimates and consensus models
  • Interact with, and respond to questions from investors and sellside analysts
  • Assist with external messaging and presentation development ensuring all information is accurate
  • Develop reporting and analysis for executive leadership
  • Lead the development of ESG-related materials
  • Interact with other internal groups including Finance, Legal and Compliance and Business Units as well as executive assistant and chiefs of staff

What you’ll need:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Experience in a financial services-related industry
  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail, organizational skills and project management skills; ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • An ability to build strong cross functional relationships and to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders
  • A professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive, non-public information
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability and willingness to work on periodic time-sensitive projects that may require attention outside of typical business hours
  • Strong Google Suite and Microsoft Office skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant field

Nice to have:

  • MBA or CFA 
  • Investor relations experience in financial services or a related industry
  • Experience using investor relation tools such as Bloomberg and IR Insights
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

Pay range: $128,000.00 - $220,000.00
Payment frequency: Annual
