*Access to private companies and certain funds is restricted to Accredited Investors. To qualify, an investor must meet specific financial criteria: a net worth over $1 million (excluding their primary residence), or an annual income over $200,000 ($300,000 when combined with a spouse or partner) for the prior two years, with the expectation of earning the same in the current year. Alternatively, meeting professional criteria can include being an investment professional in good standing with a Series 7, 65, or 82 license. Templum Markets, LLC will qualify all Accredited Investors prior to accepting an offer. Detailed information on these requirements is available in the private offering memoranda or prospectus provided by Templum.
SoFi Securities, LLC (“SoFi Invest”) has a referral arrangement with Templum Markets LLC (“Templum”) allowing eligible SoFi Invest members to access specific special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and private investment funds. Templum charges a purchase fee of up to 6% for SPVs and up to 3.5% for funds. Templum compensates SoFi Invest with 20%-50% of the fees charged to referred members, which creates a conflict of interest and an incentive for SoFi Invest to refer members to Templum. SoFi Invest is not affiliated with Templum and does not endorse its products.
Alternative investments may not be suitable for all investors and carry unique, substantial risks, including: Lack of Liquidity (investments are often illiquid until a potential acquisition or IPO), Risk of Loss (often involving high-risk assets like startups, which can result in a total loss of capital), Limited Information (making valuation challenging), and Managerial Risks (performance depends heavily on the fund managers’ skills and decisions). Investors should carefully review the investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses in the private offering memoranda or prospectus provided by Templum. This disclosure is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or to endorse any specific strategy.
